Dont forget the condos!

So, I've searching constantly for a potential new home in Corpus Christi. According to the websites we've visited, there's only a handful of places we can afford. I have found one that so far, we really like. Its a 2 bdrm/1.5 bath condo with a fenced in backyard (BONUS!) and new carpet. They allow pets w/o a deposit (double BONUS!) and rent is only $750/mo. Our base housing allowance (BAH) for Corpus is $1200/mo, so that will cover utilities and then some! Right now, it seems a little too good to be true. I'm still talking with the realtor down there to make sure our giant furniture will fit in this 1200 sq/ft condo.

All that being said, NO, we still aren't for sure moving there. We won't know until Aug. 12th. The wait is driving me crazy. Especially since we're not the ones packing. I'm like constantly cleaning and I feel like I'm pacing in a circle aimlessly.

On a completely different note, can I just say that Texas is freakin HUGE?! I got all excited to be moving to the same state as some of my friends only to find out we'll be just as far apart if not more than we already are! Its five hours to Dallas! 2.5 hrs to San Antonio! Texas should be split into two states..East & West...that's my opinion. Anyways, everyone please still keep your fingers crossed for Corpus! We want T-44s really bad! :)
