Boredom

So we've been settled in Corpus for almost a month. The weekends here are a blast. The weekdays, however, are not.

We had a car breakdown on the way here and had to ditch it in Dallas, so we only have one car at the moment. Which is unfortunate. That and I cannot, for the life of me, find a job. I have applied for a job at least once a day since I've been here and have heard NOTHING back from ANYONE. Apparently the recession hit this place hard. The schools don't even need subs, which is unheard of where I come from.

So, for now, I'm just trying to keep up with housework and make sure Hubs is taken care of. I workout a lot more and feel healthier. So that's a plus. But it will be nice to be needed outside of the home someday :)
