So we've had a very busy holiday! Lots of traveling and enjoying time with family so I'm just now getting around to posting updated bump pictures!
So starting at 14 weeks, I was able to stop using the progesterone supplements. With Elise, it took two weeks to get out of my system and then I felt much better. This time? I started vomiting at 14 weeks. I would throw up several times each morning and then feel
nauseous and stifle vomit all day long. Being alone with a toddler was just not fun. Changing her diapers, making her food and even feeding my dog made me want to throw up. Each day became a struggle. I tried phenergan and zofran. Zofran didn't work, and phenergan did but only because it knocked me unconscious so I wouldn't feel sick. So I couldn't take that during the days at all. No help! Hoping it ends very soon. I hate feeling like I can't really enjoy this pregnancy as much as I did with E when I wasn't sick!
Lena has been kicking so much, I love it! I even got to sit and watch her from the outside one night! Watching my belly move like that never gets old. I cannot wait until my husband can come home and see it for himself. I hate he's missing out on so much! Hopefully soon...
This Christmas break I also got to spend time with my girlfriends from high school. We've actually been friends since grade school. Jenni and I are one week apart and Natalie is due at the end of Feb, and has a son just a few months older than Elise. I love having so many pregnant friends to share this journey with. It's nice to have friends to talk to about pregnancy who also don't get sick of talking about all the pregnancy stuff! I can't wait to get all these babies together!
