19 weeks

We are one week away from being halfway done with this pregnancy! I can't believe it.

I am still feeling a little nausea in the mornings, and this week I even threw up once. But really, I'm doing much better than I was a few weeks ago.

I've been getting back into the groove of crossfit and loving it. I have really started to have to make big modifications though. My belly prevents me from doing burpees and it's not far from preventing me from using the barbells in lifting. Luckily I have a nice set of dumbbells waiting for me!

I'm also doing prenatal yoga once a week. I did prenatal yoga some with Elise in my first pregnancy, but I used a dvd at my house and I didn't enjoy it much. Now that I'm actually going to a studio and being part of a class, I'm addicted!

We are also coming to what's hopefully the end of this deployment. My husband and I are so tired of being separated. I know he is tired of not being able to spend quality time with our daughter. We are hoping he can get home in time to spend good time with us before he has to take off once more for training without us.

Back to pregnancy-related things...
Hormones are KILLING me lately. I cry at the silliest things. And this week there will be nothing silly about it as we say goodbye to one of our closest friends. They are moving to Germany. While we are so excited and happy for them, I would be lying if I said I didn't wish we could all stay together here much longer and watch our kids grow up together.

So this week I will try to hold myself together a little bit harder. Thank goodness I have the sweetest and funniest little girl to snuggle with at the end of a long, hard day.

I can't wait to add another little girl and a husband to those snuggle sessions!
