So a good friend of mine posted a similar blog on fitness and I decided it was too good an idea to not do myself!
Most people have pretty general bucket lists for life. Why not make one more specific and something I can work towards daily? Not to mention continue to stay healthy and fit!
Obviously being 21 weeks pregnant, there's a LOT that I cannot do to work towards my list. But there's nothing stopping me from setting goals now and making concrete plans to accomplish those goals once I'm physically able to.
So here's my fitness bucket list for 2013
*RUN a 5k!- This one's been on my to-do list for awhile. Its just been one of those things where life has gotten in the way and I've found it difficult to motivate myself to pick it back up once I got knocked down. NO MORE!
*Take a Pole Dancing Class- This may sound strange, but these actually take a lot of skill and strength! Plus they look like a blast and I've ALWAYS wanted to try it!
*Get Back on Track with Jillian Michaels- This woman's DVDs have changed my life. I am very much looking forward to the day I can start her workouts again. Plus the 30 day shred is only 20 min a day (not as easy as it sounds) and something I can do during naptimes!
*Take a Zumba Class- They just always look like fun :)
*Take a Hot Yoga Class- I'm not much for sweating, but this is just another one of those things that I'm super curious about and would love to try!
*Take a CrossFit Class- CrossFit has blown up recently!I'm curious to see how far I can go with it.
*Make Time for ME- This may sound vague, but I think its incredibly important and will be the first step I can take towards losing baby weight and feeling like myself again. I'm so lucky that I have such a great support system at home with friends to help out when hubby's gone and a husband that has already volunteered any free time he has to being superdad so I can have time to work out and feel sane!
I guess we can call this a head start on my New Year's Resolutions for 2013. It will be a year of huge changes and wonderful new adventures with our daughter in tow!
