29 & 30 Weeks

FINALLY back home in Texas! I can't express how good it feels to wake up in our house and eat breakfast in our kitchen again! Not to mention the fact that we can just walk down the street to see our friends.

As you can see, I'm starting to get rather huge! Our baby girl is growing like crazy and the single digit countdown to her arrival is just around the corner!

I wasn't able to post separate weeks for the last two weeks because of our move, lack of wireless internet, and the fact that we've been working almost nonstop to get the house ready for the baby before the holidays.

Though I am happy to report that all her things are now organized and put away in her closet and we have decided on paint colors for her room. We are using the two darker shades of grey. Darkest on the bottom of the chair rail, lighter on the top. We decided not to use orange paint. We figured that two shades of grey would give us more freedom in fabrics and decor since it can be hard to match exact shades and we can add much more orange accents and accessories. Those are easier to come by anyway!

This week we expect to have her room painted, crib bought and hopefully put together. We will probably wait til the next few pay periods to purchase the rest of the big ticket items! (yay for not using credit cards!)

I was finally able to see my OB here in Abilene this week as well. Everything went well and we scheduled a time to do a 3D ultrasound. We couldn't be more excited. Its a little pricey, but we personally think it's totally worth it. We've waited so long to see our first child's face and with this ultrasound we feel like Christmas is coming early this year! We can't wait to share pictures and video with our friends and family, especially!

So this has been a crazy week. We haven't been home 7 days and we've already accomplished so much. The next chapter is just around the corner and we couldn't be more excited!
