This week has been nuts with the move and baby preparations, but I think it's important to acknowledge a very special day we had in our home this week!
My husband had his 27th birthday this week! He's had a rough week this week with the move, all the hard work he's done around the house, taking care of me, and saying goodbye to his brother for awhile.
So as soon as we arrived home, I worked hard to put my kitchen back together and make him the cake of his choice. Yellow with homemade chocolate frosting. It was delicious. Even Macy thought so!
We also had the opportunity to have a few close friends come over, share the cake, bring Josh his favorite beer and just hang out for a change. It was a perfect night. My husband deserves every good thing that comes his way. He works so hard for his job and puts his family first. Every day something reminds me how lucky I am to be married to such an amazing person. I'm so glad we're in this thing called life together. If his dad skills are half as good as his husband skills, our daughter is one lucky gal.
