Nursery's finished!

As we finally get settled into a routine and we slowly add hours to our sleep schedule, our life is getting back to normal!

This means we had to stop procrastinating on Elise's nursery! We are only a couple weeks away from transitioning her to her crib!

Most of it was pretty much done. We just needed to organize everything that we've been blessed with as gifts and add some more of our homemade decor.

I think that's what our favorite thing about her room is...almost everything was handmade with love by family. I finally got around to taking pictures of everything today...

We just love how everything came out. My husband said even Martha Stewart would be impressed and I have to admit, I'm impressed considering everything was just sort of pieced together. Orange and grey were not easy colors to decorate a baby's room with for sure, but we had fun putting everything together and making things for our daughter ourselves.

We made these together with just leftover fabric and wooden letters from Hobby Lobby. Took us maybe an hour total and was super easy and cheap.

You already know about the lamp I made in Arkansas, but those curtains were handmade by Elise's BeeBee (my mother). They are beautiful and very special to us! Plus the growth chart in the corner was made by Elise's Aunt and Uncle. Also unique and special!

Elise's Granny D (Josh's mother) made her this guardian angel to watch over her in her room at all times. So simple and yet, so beautiful and special.

Our little girl is blessed with the best family anyone could ask for. So glad her room respresents all the love she's being given from hundreds of miles away.
