We chose to come home the day before Mother's Day so we could celebrate it at home for a change. It was really hard to leave our families after such a great trip and so much quality time. But we both definitely breathed a sigh of relief to be in our own home after being gone so long. Only a few more weeks until SOS begins for my husband so not a whole lot of "normal" together time to be had for us! C'est la vie, I suppose! :)
“Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the LORD do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you."

Second Stop In Oklahoma
The first half of our trip was spent with my family in Sand Springs. The second half was spent with Josh's parents in El Reno. We honestly didn't feel like we did very much. We were pretty exhausted from the previous week and there's not as much to do in El Reno since it's a bit further from OKC than Sand Springs is from Tulsa. But now that I'm looking back, we still managed to do quite a bit! We visited the Outlet Mall and did some shopping, took a couple trips to Yukon to visit their amazing park and (hopefully potential future) neighborhoods, and took a day trip to OKC with Nana to see the OKC Zoo and visit Great Grandma Blue! Here's some highlights:
