Our third trimester begins tomorrow!
Since returning home and starting to get back into a normal routine, I've felt much better. No more sign of blood (thank god), and though I'm having plenty of uncomfy Braxton Hicks contractions, nothing is regular or too frequent!
With Elise, I was forced to become hyper aware of contractions of any kind and it definitely increased my fear and anxiety. This time around, I'm using what I learned last time and just trying to take good care of myself (which also means allowing myself ample rest time) but not worry myself too much with my contractions. I feel like I listen to my body pretty well and I trust I will know when something isn't right.
While Lena continues to grow, we are busy getting ready for the upcoming months. And oddly enough, it doesn't have much to do with her arrival. We have lots of prep to do to get my husband to San Antonio, and then to get our house here emptied and sold. Not to mention securing a new place in Enid. We are very slowly but surely making out way through our never ending to do list. It's hard to not take breaks to just enjoy each other's company though.
It's been almost a month since my husband came home and he still is swarmed by brown eyed girls every time he walks through our door. Though I doubt he would prefer it any other way!
We are making our way through "Taming The Shrew"
Elise really enjoys going with us to watch our box's competitors for the crossfit open!
Enjoying having this guy around for late night pregnancy cravings while I can!
I can't believe we only have about 12 weeks left until Lena arrives. I think I'm just getting used to the idea of being pregnant. I think none of us are really prepared for what her presence will surely bring. Less sleep, and a TON more love!
